Eunice Kyereme is a Ghanaian-American children’s book author, technologist and entrepreneur. Published in 2022, Ama in Ghana is her debut children’s book. With this story, she aims to create representation for Africa and its diaspora, while encouraging readers to be proud of one’s heritage. In addition, she is a Co-Founder at Odyssey Artisans – a home décor and contemporary art business where she and her sister are dedicated to empowering African artists through their digital platform. Also, as a leader in Inclusion and Diversity, Eunice serves as the Global Communications Lead for the Black Employee Network at her organization, Avanade, a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture in addition to her work as a consultant.
With experience in technology and a passion for Africa, you’ll find Eunice speaking and writing on the intersectionality of culture and technological ecosystems in Africa as well as teaching on Ghanaian culture. She has spoken at global conferences like The Women in Tech Summit and enjoys engaging with schools and libraries in her community.
Eunice has her BA in Information Technology Informatics from Rutgers University. In her free time, Eunice loves to read and advocates for more reading of African literature through her blog, @ohemareads.
